HEAT ALERT — Producer Allan Cole (Algorythm), and record collector Darien Victor Birks (Flwrpt) present The Stuyvesants – Brooklyn’s Finest. Both hail from — where else? Bed-Stuy. The third installment of Madlibs one-release-a-month music series for 2010 drops March 23rd. Madlib Medicine Show No. 3: Beat Konducta in Africa is an instrumental album featuring J-Rocc. The influences infused into the LP are said to come from “obscure vinyl gems from the afro-beat, funk, psych-rock, garage-rock & soul movements of African countries as diverse as Zambia, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Ghana, Botswana and Ivory Coast.”
