Forgive the late pass but apparently, Tom Morello guitarist from Rage Against The Machine + Audioslave and Boots Riley form the Bay area group The Coup have teamed up to form a Hard Rock/Hip-Hop super duo called Street Sweeper (I think Kay Slay might have a lawsuit here).
Morello’s description of the group: “It’s got huge steamroller riffs combined with depth, charge, funk, while Boots unloads clip after clip of incendiary rhymes rich with satire and venom.”
They’ve released a single as well titled “Fight! Smash! Win!” you can listen to that here:
