Oishii Creative teams up with RETNA to salute American revolutionaries:
“To promote the launch of the documentary series “American Revolutionaries” on Ovation TV, Oishii Creative brought in the prolific graffiti artist Retna to create a lineup of outdoor ads.The ads, in which Retna used his talents and vibrant colors to make the iconic images of African-American musicians — including Tina Turner, Miles Davis, Nat King Cole, and Jimi Hendrix — pop, can be found all over the country on the sides of buildings, upon billboards, on kiosks and other outdoor locations including in Times Square at the corner of 51st and Broadway.”

A new documentary on Montreal street artist Roadsworth which premiered at Hot Docs in Toronto is out. The film focuses on Roadsworths unique style of augmenting road lines into works of art. It also talks about the legality of his artistic expression and ponders the question “(Will) Roadsworth revolutionize public space before he loses himself in the struggle?” Check out the trailer here:
