Now’s the Time features important works by arguably the most influential artists ever to have worked in the streets. Black Rat Press will be exhibiting works by artists including Jean Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Shepard Fairey, Swoon, Banksy, Barry McGee, Faile and Os Gemeos. The exhibition opens on April 23rd and this video is from the Thursday 22nd preview evening.

After more than 12 years of being active in the streets around the world, Above was persuaded by fellow artist friend Blek Le Rat to slow down long enough to make a duo show. White Walls gallery in San Francisco will host Above’s first ever indoor show. Take a sneak peak at a little preview of what is to come.

Shepard Fairy‘s May Day exhibition at Deitch Projects Gallery, opens May 1st, featuring new work from the renowned street artist. Fairey recently put up a mural outside the Deitch gallery at East Houston Street & Bowery in the Soho neighbourhood in NY, titled “These Parties Disgust Me”.
He also dropped by radio station WNYC for an interview. In this clip he speaks on Banksy and the movie Exit Through The Gift Shop:

Swizz Beatz stops by to see Dame Dash at DD172. Plus he does an interview, where he reveals that he’s a part of legendary artist Ernie Barnes‘s estate. Wow. First Alicia Keys, now this Ernie Barnes thing and for his final act Swizz will throw the game winning touchdown during Super Bowl XLIV.
